Reflection on Modules 1 and 2
From Module 1, Testing and Remediation strategies, I was able to learn new useful techniques when taking difficult exams like the NCLEX. Some of these strategies involve using markings on multiple choice options to establish possible write and wrong answers as well as determining the situation and the question being asked. Each section provided more insight on how I can become a stronger test taker and take more time to fully read each question on an exam. I can use the information from this module to improve my test performance during nursing school and eventually on the NCLEX. Overall, this module proved to be very useful for me on recent exams and will likely continue to be useful on future exams as well.
As for Module 2, Nursing Concepts, I learned the importance of each helix of success in terms of nursing as a profession. These include client-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, informatics, safety, client education, professionalism, leadership, and priority setting. Each of these individual aspects of nursing ensures that one is working to their fullest potential and taking all aspects into consideration. I can use each of these qualities to be successful in my clinical rotations and eventually when I become an officially registered nurse. In conclusion, this second module taught me the importance of multiple factors in nursing and how each encourages one to be a successful nurse.
