Preparation for Licensure (ATI Adaptive Maternal Newborn Exam)
After the Adaptive Maternal Newborn ATI, I immediately felt as if I could have done better. Maternity is a class I have enjoyed and learned a lot in, however, I feel as if this ATI did not reflect that. In terms of what I could have improved on, I believe that I could have taken more time to read each question and think it through in which I rushed through this ATI more than I have through others in the past. While this is something I need to work on, I do feel as if there were things I did well on. Considering maternal newborn is an area of nursing that is rather foreign to me up until this point, I do feel as if I was able to apply a lot of the knowledge I have learned and understand why the correct answer was correct in which that has shown that I now have a general basis for maternal newborn knowledge. Overall, this taught me that even when I want to rush through an ATI, I should always take my time and read each question so that I get the best score I am capable of and learn more in the process.
